The restyling of the Hotel Lungarno has brought prestige to the works the ‘900 artists, primarily Italian, gathered based on their personal and artistic characteristics, their story told through 5 different narrative paths throughout the various common areas and floors of the hotel.
Itinerary Top 5
The first itinerary, considered the most prestigious, features the famous Pablo Picasso and his lively friend Jean Cocteau. In their company resides Mario Sironi, who Picasso references as “A great artist, perhaps the greatest of the moment and you don’t even know it.” We round out the top 5 with two personalities of the Tuscan art scene, Marino Marini and Ottone Rosai who are also well connected to other artists featured in our collection.

Our story starts in France and the father of the poster, Jules Cheret, travels to the Ferragamo family together with Lucio Venna, as well as the young Raul Shultz, and ends with known Florentine architect Adolfo Natalini, a former Tuscan pop artist.
